Anagama Fired Wares- November 2010
The work displayed on this page is a selection of pieces that were fired in the Juniata College anagama (Japanese-style wood kiln) to around 2350 degrees Fahrenheit. The we fired for 5 days in the month of November and used roughly 6 cords of mixed hardwood and pine.

Please take your time to enjoy the work presented, there are three images of each piece so you can see the whole pot as the process lends itself to a very 'active' surface.

Thank you for your interest.
