Fired in the Juniata College anagama in April 2011.
Glazed English porcelain fired to cone 12 (2400 degrees F).
This piece was glazed with a high cobalt glaze that has been attributed as formulated by Dick Lehman 'Breakfast Special'. The high heat and length of the firing has changed the characteristics of this glaze from its appearance in a reduction gas kiln.
This piece was placed very close to the hottest part of the fire to give it the character that is present.
