Fired in the Juniata College anagama in Nov. 2012.

English porcelain fired on its side to cone 12 (2400 degrees F).

The coloration comes from melted wood ash and the smoky, reductive atmosphere on the fine-particle white clay.

This piece was placed very close to the hottest part of the fire to give it the character that is present.
